ARNOLD A. FRANKEL PGA, HALF CENTURY MEMBER
WHAT ALL GREAT GOLFERS DO BUT CAN'T EXPLAIN
A SCIENCE-PROVEN PARADIGM SHIFT FOR MORE DISTANCE,
ACCURACY, AND CONSISTENCY FOR ALL SKILL LEVELS.
YOU WILL MAKE GOOD GOLF MUCH SIMPLER, SOUNDER, SAFER, AND
SELF-CORRECTING THAN ANY OF TODAY'S INSTRUCTION. HOW MANY
THINGS CAN YOU THINK OF OR DO IN THE SECOND IT TAKES TO STRIKE
A SHOT?
NOW, YOU'LL HAVE ONE SWING THOUGHT, ONE FEEL, GUARANTEED BY
FUNDAMENTAL LAWS OF MOTION TO WORK FOR ALL SHOTS IN GOLF.
FOR MORE THAN A HALF CENTURY I'VE HAD GREAT SUCCESS TEACHING
THIS PRINCIPLE. RESULTS ARE IN THE DOCUMENTED TESTIMONIALS.
THE LATE FOUNDER ERNEST JONES IS IN THE WORLD GOLF TEACHERS
HALL OF FAME. JONES WAS AMERICA'S FOREMOST TEACHER FOR MORE
THAN 35 YEARS. MY UNIQUE LINK TO JONES IN MY (ABOUT) STORY IS
WHY I TEACH WITH PASSION, AND WHY, LIKE JONES, I TEACH THE
PRINCIPLE PURE SO IT WORKS. JONES SAID, "YOU MUST TEACH IT PURE."
WITH ALL CLUBS, FUNDAMENTAL LAWS OF MOTION PROVE THAT THE
SWINGING MOTION PRESENT IN THE CLUBHEAD IS THE ROOT CAUSE
OF GOOD AND GREAT GOLF. ONLY THE CLUBHEAD STRIKES THE BALL!
SCIENCE PROVES WITH A TRUE SWINGING MOTION ANY GOLFER IS
GUARANTEED TO HAVE A LIFETIME OF GOOD SELF-CORRECTING GOLF.
WHEN MY BRILLIANT RESEARCH PHYSICIST COUSIN ART SAID, "IT CAN'T
BE ANYTHING ELSE, WHAT DO THEY TEACH IN GOLF?" I SAID, TEACHERS
TEACH WHAT A SWING PRODUCES, INSTEAD OF HOW TO PRODUCE A
SWING. INSTRUCTION IS BACKWARDS. I GAVE THE SAME ANSWER TO
THE FORMER HEAD OF THE NATIONAL PGA OF AMERICA TEACHING
DIVISION.
PROOF!
WHAT SWINGING THE CLUBHEAD BY FEEL GIVES YOU
DISTANCE, ACCURACY, CONSISTENCY, RHYTHM, TIMING, BALANCE
ONLY A SWINGING MOTION CREATES CENTRIFUGAL FORCE. THAT'S THE
GREATEST FORCE FOR SPEED A HUMAN CAN CREATE. FOR ACCURACY
AND CONSISTENCY ONLY A SWINGING MOTION ACTS LIKE A PENDULUM.
THE SWINGING PENDULUM IS THE ULTIMATE REPETITIVE MOTION.
IMAGINE A CHILD'S SWINGING MOTION ON A SWING. THE MOTION HAS
PERFECT RHYTHM, TIMING, AND BALANCE. NOW YOU KNOW WHY I
LOVE TO TEACH GOLF'S AMAZING CLUBHEAD MOTION TO ALL GOLFERS.
COMPUTERS CAN'T FEEL, AND ALL SPORTS PLAYED WELL ARE PLAYED
BY FEEL. WITH ALL CLUBS, WHEN YOU LEARN HOW TO SWING THE
CLUBHEAD BY FEEL YOU'LL PLAY GOOD, SAFE, SELF-CORRECTING,
STRESS FREE GOLF. HISTORY PROVES MORE THAN 20 NATIONAL TITLES
WERE WON, AND TENS OF THOUSANDS OF STUDENTS IMPROVED BY
SIMPLY SWINGING THE CLUBHEAD BY FEEL. ERNEST JONES SAID, "HOW
MANY THINGS CAN YOU THINK OF AT ONCE." "THE SIMPLER A THING IS
THE MORE DEFINITE IT IS."
ELIMINATING THE TWO GREATEST OBSTACLES FOR ALL GOLFERS
"My problem today was thinking too much." The iconic Jack NIcklaus,
after a rare score over 80.
SWINGING THE CLUBHEAD BY FEEL ELIMINATES THE TWO GREATEST
OBSTACLES. FOR ALL GOLFERS, YOUR MIND AND EYES. YOUR MIND
GETS YOU THINKING TOO MUCH, AND YOUR EYES SEE ALL THE HAZARDS
ON THE COURSE. THE USBGA TOLD ME, "A BLIND GOLFER SCORED 74
FOR 18 HOLES. NOW WHEN YOU PLAY OR PRACTICE YOU'LL BE FEELING
NOT THINKING OR ANALYZING. WHEN A STUDENT ASKED THE ICONIC
ERNEST JONES, "WHAT IS FEEL?" THE ONE-LEGGED JONES SAID, "SIT ON
TACK." THE FEEL OF A SWINGING MOTION IS VERY DEFINITE. TWO
SIMPLE DRILLS, AND AN INDOOR TRAINER GIVES YOU THE FEEL THAT
STRIKES GREAT SHOTS WITH ALL CLUBS. ALL SPORTS PLAYED WELL ARE
PLAYED BY FEEL.
WHY MECHANIC FIXES ARE TEMPORARY
EVEN IF A BODY MOVE, POSITION, OR FUNDAMENTAL FIX WORKS YOU
WILL EXAGGERATE IT. THE FORMER US RYDER CUP CAPTAIN PAUL
AZINGER SAID, "YOU FIND A FIX THAT WORKS, YOU EXAGGERATE THE
FIX AND NEED A NEW FIX." MECHANICS KEEPS ALL SKILL LEVELS ON THE
EXPERIMENTING MERRY-GO-ROUND. FOREVER. IT'S IMPOSSIBLE TO
EXAGGERATE THE SWINGING MOTION. THAT'S A HUGE ADVANTAGE FOR
ANY GOLFER WHO WANTS TO IMPROVE AND SELF-CORRECT.
BOBBY JONES ENDORSEMENT
"PROBABLY THE MOST IMPORTANT AND USEFUL CONCEPT FOR THE
GOLFER IS THAT OF SWINGING, EVER SWINGING AS OPPOSED TO
FORCEFUL HITTING." BOBBY JONES. - MY TEACHER NICK SAW JONES
CARRY A DRIVE 320 YARDS UPHILL ON A LONG PAR 5. JONES USED A
40 INCH WOODEN HEAD DRIVER AND THE OLD BALL. JONES WAS 5 FT.
8 IN. 165 LBS., DRANK, SMOKED, AND DIDN'T EXERCIZE. JONES WON THE
GEORGIA STATE AMATEUR AT AGE 14. AT A 1950 MEETING, BOB JONES
ENDORSED WHAT ERNEST JONES TAUGHT TO THE NATIOAL PGA OF
AMERICA AS A SIMPLER EFFECTIVE WAY TO TEACH AND PLAY.
DATA PROVES WELL-INTENDED INSTRUCTION IS TOO HARD
ENDING GOLF RELATED INJURIES
SAM SNEAD - TIGER WOODS - PAUL AZINGER
Most golfer's play poorly. Data shows only 55% break 100, and 26% break 90. The problem is mechanic instruction is too hard mentally and physically, creates the experimenting merry-go-round, and misses the root cause of good and great golf. All today's instruction is the same - just different twists on mechanics. Fundamental laws of motion prove body moves, positions, etc. is not the answer. With all clubs, move your clubhead with a true swinging motion by feel and fundamental laws of motion guarantee your success. Only the clubhead strikes the ball!. There are many great players with poor mechanics There are no great players without a swinging motion.
After I qualified for a PGA tour event In the 70's, the late iconic Sam Snead (with a tied record 82 PGA tour wins) told me, "I play golf the simplest way I know how." You can't get simpler than one swing thought, one feel, guaranteed by laws of motion to work for all shots in golf. For maximum speed only a swinging motion creates centrifugal force. The force causes all your body parts to naturally follow the clubhead motion without strain. This ends the skyrocketing golf related injuries. For accuracy and consistency only a swinging motion acts like a pendulum. The swinging pendulum is the ultimate repetitive motion. Science proves only a swinging motion creates perfect rhythm, timing, and balance.
On the range (on TV) at a PGA tour event in Chicago, Tiger said, "This leads to that, that to this, this to that. etc." A former US Ryder Cup captain, Paul Azinger said, "You find a fix that works, you exaggerate the fix and need a new fix." Ernest Jones said, "Anything you can exaggerate is no good. You must understand motion."
Learn to swing the clubhead by feel for a lifetime of good, injury free,
self-correcting golf.
HOW TO BECOME YOUR OWN COACH
When you learn to swing the clubhead by feel, you'll instantly feel when you jerk, push, guide, pull, etc. or swing the clubhead. When your swinging you'll feel the clubhead weight pulling out. The outward pull you feel is centrifugal force. For maximum speed that's the greatest force a human can create. Learn to concentrate ONLY on feeling the swinging motion of the clubhead with all clubs and you'll become your own coach. You'll have a swing for a lifetime of good self-correcting golf.
RESULTS
ERNEST JONES - PHIL MICKELSON
WHY THE PRINCIPLE IS NOT INSTRUCTIONS GOLD STANDARD
Phil Mickelson (winner of 45 PGA tour events and 6 majors) said,
"Teachers should teach like Ernest Jones ...".
From 1924 with the World Golf Hall of Fame teacher Ernest Jones, beginners, flight, club, state, and the winners of more than 20 national championships guarantee your success.
Pete Boswick, who I taught, won 15 club championships at 3 different clubs, Seminole in Florida, Piping Rock, and The National GC on Long Island. Bob Feldman, who I taught, was the perennial club champion at the Engineers club on Long Island. For more proven results with all skill levels go to Testimonials. Because it's self-correcting, simple, and sound dramatic improvement for all skill levels is not uncommon. My students have a lifetime of good "KEEP IT SIMPLE GOLF!"
History proves Ernest Jones was the most successful, controversial, misunderstood teacher in the history of golf. I can easily prove this fact with Jones prolific writings. Sadly, today the simplicity of Jones brilliant teaching is not understood. I make that statement because my teacher the late Nick Martino spent from the age of 9 more than 35 yrs. with Jones. Nick was Jones confidant, and with Jones in his home when he passed on in 1965. Nick was proud of the 15 club champions he taught on Long Island. It was from Nick that I learned to teach the principle pure and uncorrupted like Jones.
At a PGA meeting In 1950, the national US PGA was wrong thinking the principle was too simple to sell lessons. A golf writer wrote, "Ernest Jones gave 5 times the lessons of other pros." In the 90's, a former Jones student told me, "The pros on Long Island were jealous of Jones." Ernest said, "You can always learn more about what is right. You're so apt to get cause and effect confused." When my classic best selling "The Golf Swing Motion" DVD came out in 1992, my national golf school in Florida filled for years without marketing. When it's much simpler and works for all shots in golf the word spreads. Fast.
Having just one swing thought, one feel, that always works for any shot in golf is the future of golf. It will grow the great game.
"EFFECT IS INFORMATION. CAUSE IS KNOWLEDGE." WALTER RUSSELL -
(19TH CENTURY GENIUS IN MANY ARTS).
Regardless of what you look like (style) or think, laws of motion dictate if you play good or great golf you're moving the clubhead with a swinging motion. The problem occurs when you don't no the cause of your success. This leads to the needless experimenting merry-go-round for all skill levels.
Worldwide, millions of golfers are searching for an easier way to play, practice, and self-correct, Fundamental laws of motion prove Golf's Amazing Clubhead Motion is your answer. With well-intended mechanics millions
of golfers never come close to their potential in the game they love.
THE SWINGING THE CLUBHEAD ADVANTAGE
One well-intended teacher or great player say's one thing another something else. Mechanic fixes, contradictions, tips online, tips on the Golf Channel are endless. This creates confusion. As I stated, how many things can you think of or do in the second it takes to strike a shot? Move your clubhead with a true swinging motion by feel and your done. Fundamental laws of motion guarantee your success for any shot in golf.
WHAT IS A TRUE SWING?
YOUR AMAZING EYE-BRAIN COMBINATION
THE LADIES' COLLEGE GOLF TEAM FROM TEXAS
I use the word "true" swing because millions of golfers think they're swinging, even though the motion of the swing doesn't exist. They move the clubhead with jerking, pushing, pulling, guiding, and other wrong clubhead motions. From putter to driver, the wrong clubhead motion causes poor shots. Throughout history there have been many excellent golfers and tour pros with poor mechanics. They all move the clubhead with a swinging motion. It's what all great players do but can't explain.
Science proves the eye-brain combination programs the distance and direction instantly (10 milliseconds). I proved this fact to a college woman's golf team from Texas, who came for a lesson in Florida. The ladies were shocked that by just swinging the clubhead they made different length putts with their eyes closed. A brief look and the eye-brain combination programed the distance and direction instantly. The USBGA told me, "A blind golfer scored 74 for 18 holes." Tiger practiced putting with his eyes closed. Closing your eyes deepens the feel your after. With all clubs, the less you interfere with the swinging motion of the clubhead the better your shot, the lower you score, and the more fun you'll have.
SPENDING TIME WITH LEGENDS -- SAM SNEAD AND GARY PLAYER
POSITIONS, HANDS, FUNDAMENTALS, SWING PLANE, ETC. ETC.
As a teaching pro in the 70s, I qualified for some PGA tour events. In the locker room was the iconic Sam Snead. The winner of a tied record 82 PGA tour events was correct when he told me, "You can have great positions and a lousy swing, lousy positions and a great swing." To that I'd add body moves. When I asked Snead, "What starts and swings the club?" Snead laughed, held up his hands and said, "What do you think I hold the club with." When I told Snead I heard you have a natural swing he said, "A million balls later." Snead validated what I teach when he said, "All I ever worked on was rhythm." My simple demo in "The Golf Swing Motion" DVD you can purchase proves with all clubs only a true swinging motion creates rhythm (a recurring beat), and timing in golf.
At another PGA Tour event I qualified for I was paired with Gary Player. The iconic winner of 9 majors said, "For every fundamental in golf I'll show you a superstar who doesn't do it."
Recently, I heard a PGA tour announcer on TV say, " I don't know why he missed the shot, he was on plane and everything looked good." With a trained teaching eye (watching only the clubhead motion) I could see the clubhead wasn't swinging. The Shocking Instruction Myths demos in my new digital global instruction package I'm creating will be eye-opening. It will help create change from the complexity, confusion, and contradictions of well-intended mechanic instruction, to the simplicity of just swinging the clubhead through your own sense of feel. Good shots feel good! "You wont want to give it up because of the freedom it provides." That was the late three consecutive US national champion, Virginia Van Wie.
GOLF'S ONE COMMON DENOMINATOR
WHAT ALL GREAT PLAYERS DO BUT CAN'T EXPLAIN
THE TRUE SECRET TO GOLF
Every golfer I've ever met would love to discover one swing thought, one feel, guaranteed by fundamental laws to work for all clubs and shots. Swinging the clubhead by feel is that one thing. A swinging motion is a very specific clubhead motion, with a specific feel, that any golfer can learn.
To see a true swinging motion watch a child swinging on a swing. Watch the motion repeating it's path over and over, and the fastest point always at the bottom. You can't see the great force (centrifugal in nature) and accuracy because it's so smooth and even to your eye. For maximum speed only a swinging motion creates centrifugal force. Move your clubhead with any other motion -- push, jerk, guide, pull, lift, etc., and centrifugal force and maximum distance is gone. Swinging wrecking balls knock down tall buildings. Some tour pro examples are Louie Oosthuizen, Fred Couples, Ernie Els, and Annika Sorenstam. Els, who won 4 majors said, "My swing is one smooth motion without a beginning or end." The golf swing is one continuous motion that can't be taken apart. Nobody draws a circle in parts and then tries to put all the parts together.
A swinging motion is present in the clubhead of all great golfers. The
less you interfere with Golf's Amazing Clubhead Motion the better you play.
Period.
BOBBY JONES QUOTE
"The one idea for the golfer to keep always in his mind is that when playing a shot, his job is to swing the clubhead. If he does that hitting the ball will take care of itself." Golf's greatest player won 13 majors and retired at age 28. Jones won 44% of the majors he played in. A higher percentage of major wins than Tiger Woods and Jack Nicklaus.
THE LAWS OF FORCE -- THE LAW OF THE PENDULUM
JACK NICKLAUS ON DISTANCE, JOHNNY MILLER'S HOT STREAK,
BRANDT SNEDEKER ON PUTTING
For distance and speed science proves only a swinging motion creates the greatest force (centrifugal in nature) that a human can create. In the Olympics the shot-putter pushes a 16 lb. weight 70 ft. The hammer-thrower swings a 16 lb. weight 280 ft. With all clubs the less you interfere with the swinging motion the greater your speed! After Morikawa won the Memorial the iconic Jack Nicklaus said, "He swings the club to get his distance." When any golfer asks, "How can I get more distance?" I tell them, learn to swing the clubhead by feel. All sports played well are played by feel.
For accuracy and consistency science proves only a swinging motion acts like a pendulum. The swinging pendulum is the ultimate repetitive motion. No wonder, Johnny Miller during one of the greatest hot streaks in the history of golf told a leading golf magazine, "I swing the club like a pendulum." In 1974 Miller won 8 PGA tour events. In 1975 he won a PGA tour event in the desert by 14 shots. Golf's most accurate ball striker was the
Canadian autistic savant Moe Norman. The man nicknamed Pipeline said, "I
swing the club like a pendulum, the club can't get off line even if it wanted
to." I watched Moe and Hogan play live. Moe was more accurate and more consistant than Hogan.
The former 2012 FedEx cup winner Brandt Snedeker who was one of the PGA tours best putters for years said, "Feel the putter head swinging." Swing the weight of putter head and with some practice any golfer can putt well.
THE TRUTH ABOUT RHYTHM, TIMING, AND BALANCE
SAM SNEAD ON RHYTHM -- TIGER ON BALANCE
WHAT ELIMINATES FAT SHOTS, THIN SHOTS, DECELERATING?
For perfect rhythm watch a child's swinging motion on a swing. You can count to the recurring beat (rhythm) through a small arc like putting, or a large arc like driving. When the iconic Sam Snead told me, "All I ever worked on was rhythm," unknowingly Snead was working on swinging the clubhead by feel. It's what all great players do but can't explain.
For perfect timing, the child's swinging motion on a swing is always accelerating at the bottom of the arc, (where the club and ball make contact). With a swinging motion you won't hit fat shots, thin shots, or decelerate. Your clubface will always come back to it's starting point or square. It's a law! From all kinds of positions trick shot artists prove this fact.
A spinning top stays balanced because of the force. When you swing the clubhead centrifugal force keeps you balanced. My one-legged student Steve Fangio (with a great attitude) was an inspiration at golf events. Steve drove 270 yds., and shot 68 on a tough desert course in Arizona. The iconic Tiger Woods said, "My swing keeps me balanced. For all shots, when you hit a poor shot it's much easier to correct the clubhead motion than mechanics.
SWINGING VS. MECHANICS
1. Moves, positions, etc. can easily be exaggerated leading to new
fixes.
2. Mechanics are negative. What you do wrong can change. Creating
a swinging motion is positive. The motion never changes. All that
changes is the club you use. Ph.D. Psychologists who love how I
teach call it, "Errorless Learning." I call it a positive way to play.
3. Doing 9 different trouble shots for Golf Magazine I proved it's rare to
need adjustments. Striking good shots, the swinging motion always
brought the clubface back to its starting point or square. It's a law!
After a great show where I taught in Michigan, the late trick shot
artist Paul Hahn Jr. told me, "I use the same feel for all my shots."
4. Take your range game to the course - When you feel the clubhead
swinging on the green or range, you'll be able to take that feel to
the course. On the course you'll have two simple drills to get the
feel back if you lose it
SELF-CORRECT FOR ALL CLUBS AND SHOTS IN GOLF
5. Once you learn the feel of a swinging motion, you'll get instant feel
feedback with all clubs and shots. You become your own coach!
WHY GOLF INJURIES ARE SKYROCKETING
TIGER WOODS
One study showed 70% amateurs and 90% pros will have a golf related injury. Mechanics aren't natural. When you do something not natural to your anatomy, and repeat it over and over, you're a strain or injury waiting to happen. The modern style of creating the swing is a prime example. Tiger
fired four well-known, well-intended mechanic teachers. One stated, "I may have added to Tiger's physical problems." Another that "I may not know what's right, but I know what's wrong." Nobody's at fault because mechanics is all teachers are taught and know. The legendary Ernest Jones said, "You must understand motion." There is a much safer, sounder, simpler, self-correcting way to play with more than a century of success. Basic laws of motion don't lie.
WHY GOLF RELATED INJURIES ARE NEEDLESS
WHY SWINGING THE CLUBHEAD IS THE SAFEAST WAY TO PLAY
JACK NICKLAUS
With a swinging motion all body parts naturally follow the clubhead motion without strain. The outward pull of the weight of the clubhead (caused by centrifugal force) automatically creates distance, accuracy,
consistency, weight shift, body turn, swing plane, delayed release, balance, follow-through, etc. For proof watch my two minute YouTube video, and it's simply explained in The Golf Swing Motion DVD. The legendary Jack Nicklaus told a struggling OSU mens golf team player to "Swing the weight of the clubhead." Great advice from the winner of a record 18 majors.
ALL SPORTS PLAYED WELL ARE PLAYED BY FEEL
COMPUTERS CAN'T FEEL
Ask NBA superstar Steph Curry how he makes 3-point baskets from downtown. Steph feels it in his hands and fingers. He doesn't analyze body moves or positions. With 8 major wins, the iconic Tom Watson said, "The better my feel, the better I play. It's that simple." I couldn't agree more! Tom wrote me a nice supportive note with a U.S. Ryder Cup captain heading.
WHEN MY STUDENTS STRIKE GOOD SHOTS FOUR THINGS HAPPEN
1. They know the specific feel that works for all shots in golf.
2. They know how to get that feel.
3. They know how to practice the feel indoors and on the range.
4. They know how to get the feel back when elusive.
MORE THAN A CENTURY OF SUCCESS, 1924-2026
THE MOST THOUGHT PROVOKING TALK EVER GIVEN TO THE PGA
THE FUTURE OF GOLF
Because of his remarkable teaching record (teaching all skill levels to swing the clubhead), in 1950, the scholarly one-legged Ernest Jones was invited to be the main speaker at the PGA annual meeting. In one 15-year stretch, 7 Jones' students won the US National Championship and 7 finished 2nd. For 40 years Jones was America's foremost teacher. He helped tens of thousands of recreational golfers score lower, and make good golf much simpler mentally and physically. Jones gave all students one swing thought, one feel, guaranteed by basic laws to work for all clubs and shots in golf.
At the meeting the iconic Bobby Jones told the PGA what they need is
a simple effective way to teach, and Ernest Jones gave an excellent talk.
The incoming PGA President Horton Smith stated, "it's too simple, we won't sell enough lessons." A golf writer wrote, "Jones gave five times the lessons of other pros." You give more lessons because when golfers really improve and it feels good they tell others. Ironically, Smith, a two-time Masters winner took lessons from the genius Ernest Jones.
When Jones was invited to be the principle speaker to the golf writers of America he told them they were printing rubbish for 50 years. His talk won over many writers. Because of the simplicity, during the Jones era many writers and teachers thought golf instruction should be standardized to the principle Jones taught.
My late teacher Nick Martino was proud of the 15 club champions he created on Long Island. It was from Nick that I learned the principle pure and uncorrupted the way Jones taught him. Nick spent 35 years with Jones. He called Ernest "The Master." The brilliant Jones is the only teacher in The World Golf Teachers Hall of Fame who taught no mechanics. Jones called mechanics, "A long circuitous route to good golf." The basic laws, simplicity, and common sense behind the principle I teach is the future of golf. Only the clubhead strikes the ball, and with all clubs, the less you interfere with the swinging motion of the clubhead the better you play. Period.
A golf writer wrote, "Ernest Jones never lost an argument about the golf swing." You can't argue against common sense and Newton's and Galileo's laws. Jones told a NYC newspaper reporter, "There are no golf tips. There are fundamental laws that govern the motion of the club." I'd add, and those laws are present only when you swing the clubhead. Jones said, "How many things can you think of at once?"
VALIDATION FROM MY COUSIN THE PHYSICIST
THE ROOT CAUSE OF GOOD AND GREAT GOLF
JACK NICKLAUS ON MOTION
At the University of Colorado, I explained the simplicity of what I teach to my brilliant research physicist cousin Art, and the four doctoral students he was helping. None played golf. They all said, "It can't be anything else. What do they teach in golf?" My response was, "They dissect the swing (which is a specific clubhead motion) into body parts, moves, positions, etc. and expect golfers to put the pieces together and play well." The iconic Jack Nicklaus remarked that like baseball, tennis, (and other sports) golf is a motion. The question is what motion. The swinging motion must be made with the clubhead (not the handle), because only the clubhead strikes the ball.
Watching a child swinging on a swing, nobody can call anything but that specific motion a swing. Fundamental laws prove the swinging motion will always be the root cause of good and great golf. The less you interfere with the swinging motion the better you play. Period! Any golfer who learns to swing the clubhead by feel will have a lifetime of good, self-correcting, injury free golf.

TIGER WOODS
Tiger talked about feeling shots with his hands. And after all his surgeries that he still had good use of his hands. Only your hands contact the club. Only through the feel in your hands can you feel what the clubhead is doing. To get the feel of the swinging motion Tiger practiced putting with his eyes closed.
GARY PLAYER
As previously mentioned I was paired with the iconic Gary Player at a PGA tour event. On the range Player said, "When you have the feel you can do anything you want." Gary changed his grip, stance, positions, and struck shot after shot at his target. With a trained teaching eye, watching only his clubhead motion, I saw a swinging motion with little interference. Nobody swings with zero interference, but you can get close. With all clubs, the less you interfere with the swinging motion the better the shot and the lower your score. Period.
THE SECRET TO TRICK SHOTS
Sitting in a chair in The Golf Swing Motion DVD, I strike a full 8-iron to an uphill green for a birdie putt. All I concentrated on was swinging the clubhead by feel with my hands. I was sitting on the body's largest muscle, the gluteus maximus. Small and large muscles add power. It's a myth that only the large muscles swing the club.
GETTING A SQUARE CLUBFACE AT IMPACT WITH ALL CLUBS
The 1995 US Open winner, Corey Pavin, remarked that all he wanted was a square clubface at impact. The swinging pendulum is the ultimate repetitive motion. When you feel a swinging motion, your clubface comes back to it's starting point, or square from any position with all clubs. It's a law!
The DVD will give you more distance, accuracy, and consistency.
You'll play with mental and physical freedom free from injury.

A SWING FOR A LIFETIME -- JOHN MONDANTE'S STORY
ONCE YOU LEARN TO SWING THE CLUBHEAD BY FEEL, YOU WILL HAVE A
SWING FOR A LIFETIME OF GOOD SELF-CORRECTING GOLF. IN HIS 80's, MY
TEACHER NICK'S COUSIN JOHN MONDANTE HAD A 3 HANDICAP. IN THE 30'S,
HE LEARNED TO SWING THE CLUBHEAD FROM THE ICONIC ERNEST JONES.
JOHN TOLD ME, "WHEN THE TOUR PROS CAME TO LONG ISLAND WE HAD
MONEY MATCHES AND I COULD BEAT THEM ALL." WHEN I ASKED JOHN WHY
HE DIDN'T TURN PRO, HE SAID, "BACK THEN THERE WAS NO MONEY IN
TOURNAMENT GOLF, AND I HAD FIVE KIDS TO FEED." MORAL OF THE STORY --
